"On January 8th I decided to concentrate my search between Castor and
Pollux, as I thought the surveys might avoid these bright stars. On my
second mosiac pass I noticed a very dim asteroid in the field. It did
not show up when I ran it through MPChecker, so I was excited,
but didn't want to get my hopes up. As luck had it, it was clear the
next night and the asteroid was right where it was suppossed to be. 6
measurements over 2 nights with a RMS of .3! Object submitted on 1/9
and provisional designation received on 1/10" ...GREG SELLEK
